Form information
The Correction Decision form is completed in the Correction-Initial Eligibility, Correction-Reevaluation, and IEP Correction events to determine if the Correction Notification form is needed.
Correction-Initial Eligibility or Correction-Reevaluation
The Evaluation Report Correction is used to correct clerical errors in the Evaluation Report. It can be completed before or after the Report is sent to the parent.
Select Correction to correct a clerical error in an evaluation report.
If you indicate a copy of the report has not been sent to the parent, the Correction Notification form will not be created.
If you indicate a copy of the report has been sent to the parent, the Correction Notification form will be created on the Forms List panel when the Correction Decision is saved.
IEP Correction
Select Correction to correct a clerical error in an IEP.
If you indicate a copy of the IEP has not been sent to the parent, a Correction Notification form will not be created.
If you indicate a copy of the IEP has been sent to the parent, the Correction Notification form will be created on the Forms List panel when the Correction Decision is saved.
The Correction Decision is not available in Amendment forms. In Amendments, the IEP Amendment Form takes the place of the Notification Form and is always used.
