Correction - Initial Eligibility Event
This article is to help the user with the event.
Event information
The Correction - Initial Eligibility event is created by the user and is used to correct an Initial Evaluation. Instructions for creating the event are found here.
It is extremely important that the correct dates are used when creating this event. The Due Date and Scheduled Date should be the date of the Eligibility Conference for the event being corrected.
The Correction - Initial Eligibility event is created to correct a clerical error discovered after the Initial Eligibility event has been locked. When Correction is selected on the Correction Decision form, indicate whether or not the report has been sent to the parent. If a copy of the report has been sent to the parent, a Correction Notification form will be completed so that Word Processing includes the corrected report when sending to the parent.
After making corrections, if assessments were completed, attach the Assessment Results to the correction event. Lock the event. If an evaluation report was written, the evaluation chair will use the correction process for ESI Caselog. The Word Processor will send the corrected document to the parent, with the Correction Notification, if appropriate.
The Correction - Initial Eligibility event can not be used if the Notification of Meeting is the reason for the correction. Instead a new Initial Eligibility event should be created, in this case, create a ticket with the Service Desk.
