Creating a Transfer Event
The steps below are permissions based and are used to create a Transfer Event.
Step-by-step
Select Events for the student
Click "+ New Meeting"
Click Show All and select Transfer as Event Type
Save
Use the transfer date as the Scheduled and Due Dates
Click the search icon to search for the School Psychologist assigned to the transfer
Save
Add the student to the School Psychologist’s and Area Coordinator’s Watch Lists. see Managing Your Watch List
Open the Transfer Event and go to the Transfer Decision form on the Event Sections panel
Choose In-state Transfer or Out-of-state Transfer
Save
Go to the In-state Transfer Student Documentation or Out-of-state Transfer Documentation form (example In-State)
Enter demographic information
Enter record request dates in Requested, enter Received and Dates of the IEP and Evaluation Report
Save
Return to Events and open Logs from the Student Profile to attach copies of records received such as the evaluation report and the IEP
Enter a Title in the Attachment section
Enter a Description, if necessary
Click Upload (the file appears in the Attachments section of the page)
