This article will cover the steps that are needed to update your version of Google Chrome for any device including a Chromebook.

Step-by-step guide

Follow these steps to update Chrome to the latest version

  1. Find the Three Dots stacked on top of each other in the top right corner of the web browser.

  2. Click these dots to access the menu that is needed to update the browser. The menu should look like this when you click on that button.

  3. Navigate to "Help" and you should see a submenu open. That menu should look like this.

  4. Choose "About Google Chrome". When you do this a new page should open and an update will run if needed.
