Central Office Rooms 60-61 AV Audio Visual Quick Guide
Staff can utilize this article to help them connect and utilize the Audio Visual equipment in Central Office Rooms 60-61 including Displays, Microphones, and Recording Cameras.
Choosing Mode:
Locate the Audio Visual Crestron on the blue wall
If the Crestron is dark, Tap anywhere to wake up the Crestron
Tap the button on Crestron for the room layout you are using:
Tap Divided Mode in Room 60, if a different meeting is occurring in Room 61 (divider closed)
Tap Combined Mode in Room 60 if you are using both Room 60 & Room 61 together as one large room (divider open)
Tap anywhere on the Crestron in Room 61 if a different meeting is occurring in Room 60 (divider closed) to start Room 61 Divided Mode
Getting Connected:
After Tapping Divided or Combined room layout, Tap one of the following:
HDMI Wallplate
With the Guest Laptop:
SSD Staff-Click Other User-Login with your SSD Email and password
Non-SSD Staff Visitors-Click Guest
Hold the Windows Key + P to bring up the Display Menu
With Your Laptop:
Plug the HDMI cable from the Guest Laptop into:
Your Computer’s HDMI Port
an Adapter with an HDMI Port that connects to your computer
Hold the Windows Key + P to bring up the Display Menu
Casting
Windows:
Follow the Directions on the TV or:
Hold the Windows Key + K
Mac OS:
Follow the Directions on the TV or:
Open the Display Menu from Action Center
TV Control:
Tap the TV Control button on the Crestron
Tap the Power On or Power Off button corresponding to the TV you want to Turn On or Turn Off:
Front TVs Controls for TVs on the blue wall
Side TV Control for TVs on the side white wall
If you want to temporarily stop displaying on a TV, Tap the Mute Picture button
Tap Back in the top right corner to return to the Crestron Home screen
Volume:
Tap the Back button to return to the Crestron Home screen (if needed)
Volume Controls for Audio and Video are located on the Home screen of the Crestron
Tap the button to the left of the Room Volume indicator bar to Decrease Volume
Tap the button to the right of the Room Volume indicator bar to Increase Volume
Tap the button to the left of the Decrease Volume to Mute the Audio and Video Sound from your laptop temporarily (Red = Muted)
Tap Back in the top right corner to return to the Crestron Home screen
Microphones:
Tap the Microphones button on the Crestron
Tap Privacy Mute if you do not want sound transmitted to external participants temporarily (Zoom, Teams, Recorded Audio) (Red = Muted)
Tap Mute All Mics if you want to stop the Lavalier, Handheld, and Room Mics from amplifying sound temporarily
Tap the Volume Control for the Lavalier (Body Pack) or Handheld Mic corresponding to the setting you wish to change:
Tap the top button under Lavalier or Handheld to Increase Volume for that particular Mic
Tap the bottom button under Lavalier or Handheld to Decrease Volume for that particular Mic
Tap the Mute button between the Increase Volume and Decrease Volume buttons to stop that particular Mic from amplifying sound temporarily
Tap Back in the top right corner to return to the Crestron Home screen
Turning Off the System:
From the Crestron Home screen Tap the System Off button in the top right corner
Tap the green button YES! SYSTEM OFF to Power Off the TVs and Microphones
Tap the red button NO RETURN to resume using the TVs and Microphones
Camera Control:
Tap the Camera Control button from the Crestron Home screen
Make sure Your Laptop or the Guest Laptop is connected to the USB cable that runs from the Wall to the Podium
Tap a Preset View: Narrow View or Wide View button and allow a few seconds for the Camera (wall-mounted in the back of the room) to adjust to that view
Or, create your own Custom View using the Arrow Keys surrounding the Home button to adjust the Camera as needed. Home will return the Camera to its default position
The Zoom In or Zoom Out buttons on the right side of Camera Control can be used with Narrow or Wide Views to Focus the Camera Nearer or Farther away
