SSD Central Office Rooms 60/61 Shared Presenter Laptops

These laptops are provided for the convenience of presenters and guests leading professional learning at Central Office in Rooms 60-61. Please sign out or restart the computer after your session.

For SSD Staff:

  1. Click on the empty globe symbol in the lower right corner of the Login screen.

  2. Click on SSD_Secured.

  3. Following the prompts, enter your SSD Email Address, including the @ssdmo.org in the username field.

  4. Enter your SSD password in the lower box and Click OK.

  5. A prompt will ask Continue Connecting? Please Click Connect.

  6. Once the blue WiFi login box says Connected, Secured, you may click underneath Other User in the center of the screen.

  7. Enter your SSD email address in the top box.

  8. Enter your password in the bottom box and Press Enter or Click the Arrow symbol to Sign In.

  9. These computers are secure for shared use because they do not allow you to save documents, passwords, and logins from session to session.

  10. Any documents need saved to One Drive.

  11. Downloads will be saved until you Sign Out or Restart.

  12. When you restart, any Google logins and saved passwords for Windows will be cleared.

  13. Click on the Windows Start square in the lower left corner to find Apps.

  14. If you need to use Microsoft Office, you will be prompted to sign in.

For Guests without an SSD login:

  1. Please click on the Guest entry in the lower left corner of the login screen. No Network Connection is needed for Guest login.

  2. Once you are on the Windows Desktop, click on the empty globe symbol.

  3. Click on SSD_Guest and use the provided SSD Guest password to connect to that network.

  4. Please be advised that SSD internal sites such as SSD Gateway, Portal, and Lawson will not work under Guest accounts.

  5. Any documents will need to be saved to your Google or Microsoft One Drive account. Please sign in and use the web version of these cloud storages.

  6. You may log into Microsoft Office by providing your own credentials (such as a Partner District username and password for a District that is a Microsoft subscriber).

  7. Downloads will be saved until you Sign Out or Restart.

  8. When you restart, any Google logins and saved passwords for Windows will be cleared.

  9. Click on the Windows Start square in the lower left corner to find Apps.
