Connecting to Microsoft 365 - Outlook desktop on MacOS

Please use this article when your are needing help connecting your new Office 365 - Outlook to Outlook 2011 on a MacOS. 

Step-by-step guide

  1. You will need to open up Outlook Desktop Application. In this scenario, I am using MacOS 10.12. It may be different on your PC.

  2. Click the Tools menu. Click the Accounts… button.

  3. Select your account and click the Delete button.

  4. In the new window, click the Exchange or Office 365 button.

  5. Type in your SSD E-mail address

  6. In the User name field, you will need to enter in your SSD User Principal Name (UPN). UPN is your SSD username @ssdmo.org. For example,

    1. username@ssdmo.org

  7. In this scenario, we will be using wcjohnson@ssdmo.org

  8. Type in your SSD UPN and password into the fields and the, Click the Add Account button.

  9. Select the Allow option.
