Exporting Outlook Data
When needing to Export mail and calendar data during a failed Migration in Office 365 or as an Outlook Data Backup.
Step-by-step
Prior to Starting.
This will not work on a Mac.
This will not work via Web Access.
The User Must Be Using Outlook on a PC.
Open Outlook.
Choose File within the Desktop Application .
Choose Options → Advanced → Export .
Choose "Export to a file" in the following menu.
Choose Outlook Data File (.pst).
Click the Profile (The top of the tree)Save the Exported File to the Desktop while keeping "Replace duplicates with items exported" selected.
Choose "Finish" .
The Export might take some time depending on how large the profile is.
Make sure you choose the correct location for the file. It will be hard to find depending on the name it is given during the Export process/
