Reporting Suspicious Email as Phishing or Spam
Use this article for help when you receive an email that you have properly identified as a phishing or malicious attempt, you can report that email directly from within your Office 365 - Outlook account. You may do so on the desktop PC and/or Mac as well as on the web. See the sections below for the steps to report a suspicious email.
Thank you for reporting suspicious email. If you think something is suspicious, please report it. The process below goes through multiple automated and manual checkpoints to ensure the validity of the suspected email. You are helping to keep the district safe. If you have any questions, please contact the Technology Services Help Desk.
Outlook Web Application
Click to select the suspected email.
In the window with email, click on the More ... button.
Select Report from the list.
Click the Report phishing selection.
To confirm, click OK.
Click the OK button to return to your email.
You will receive a follow-up communication from Technology Services on the status of your report.
Outlook Desktop Application (PC/Mac)
Click to select the suspected email.
In the window with email, click on the More ... button.
Select Report Message from the list.
Click the Phishing selection.
To confirm, click Report.
You will receive a follow-up communication from Technology Services on the status of your report.
