MFA - Getting Started with Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
This article describes how to get started with setting up MFA. Staff will be notified when it is their turn to set up MFA for their Office 365 accounts.
Want to get an early head start and not wait to be notified? Go to step 8 under Choosing an Authentication Method below and select one of the available methods.
Setting up MFA
Once you have been added to an implementation group, the ‘More information required’ screen will appear when signing in on your SSD account.
Click 'Next' to start your set up.
Note: Staff have 14 days from the first date the above message appears on your screen to set up MFA. On the 15th day, staff will no longer have the ‘Skip for now’ option and will not be able to access their SSD Microsoft 365 applications until MFA has been set up for their SSD account.
