Using RingCentral Phone for Android

Use this article for help on downloading the Android RingCentral Phone application and setting it up to connect to your SSD RingCentral account. This will only work for users that are assigned a direct extension. Voicemail only users do not have this feature.

RC Phone setup

  1. On your Android device, search the App Store for Ringcentral phone.

  2. Locate the app titled, RingCentral Phone and click the download button.

  3. Tap on the RC Phone application once it has installed.

  4. Tap the Sign In button.

  5. Tap the Single Sign-on button.

  6. Enter your SSD email address into the box, i.e., flast@ssdmo.org, and tap the Submit button.

    1. You may check the Remember email box. As long as your app history is cached, your email will be saved and you will only have to click the Submit button.

  7. A new window appears to connect you from RingCentral to our SSD accounts. Enter your SSD email and password into the boxes.

  8. Click the Sign In button.

  9. Read the Emergency Services Disclaimer and tap the Accept button.

  10. On the Account Setup screen, enter your mobile phone number, i.e., 314-555-5555 and tap the Next button.

  11. Enter your mobile phone area code and tap the Done button.

  12. On the next three screens, "RC Phone" will request to Send You Notifications, Access Your Contacts, and Access the Microphone. Tap the Allow and OK buttons to continue.
