RingCentral for Mobile Users with Temporary Upgrade

Note: The information below is for mobile users (formerly Voicemail Only users) who have been given additional permissions, per their supervisor's request. These users have been assigned a temporary phone number, which does not match their voicemail extension.

  • Upgraded users can use the RingCentral mobile app, or desktop app.

  • You can make internal calls by dialing the extension of the person you are trying to reach.

  • You can make external calls using the dial pad at the bottom of the screen on the Phone tab.

  • Outside callers can reach you by calling 314-989-8100 and dialing your extension.

  • It is still best to have people call 314-989-8100 and enter your extension to reach you directly or leave a voicemail, as these additional phone

    • However, if they call the phone number it will still ring to your phone and go to your voicemail extension.

  • You can text from these accounts.

    • The phone number will show up when you text, and that is the number they should respond to.

  • You have access to video and audio conferencing, no limit.

  • You can check voicemail from your app or by dialing 314-989-8448 and following the prompts.

Follow the steps below to set up RingCentral for mobile or desktop.


Logging in to RingCentral

Follow these steps to log in to RingCentral.

  1. Go to the portal and find the RingCentral app, or go directly to service.ringcentral.com

  2. Choose Single Sign on

  3. Enter your whole SSD email address (ex. name@ssdmo.org)

  4. Submit

  5. Enter your whole SSD email address again

  6. Enter your SSD password

  7. The first time you log in it will have you choose a picture, You do not need to remember what you picked.

  8. Sign In

  9. This will bring you to your dashboard.


RingCentral for Mobile

Follow these steps to install the RingCentral app on your mobile device.

  1. Download the RingCentral app from the Play Store (Android) or App Store (Apple)

  2. Log in to your RingCentral account using Single Sign-on (follow login directions above).


RingCentral for Desktop

Follow these steps to install the RingCentral app on your computer.

  1. Log in to your RingCentral account.

  2. Click Tools > Desktop Apps.

  3. Choose either Download for Mac or Download for PC.

  4. Run through the install wizard.

  5. On your desktop, click to open it and log in using Single Sign-on (follow login directions above).
