Office 365 for Home Use

Previously, SSD participated in the Microsoft HUP-Home Use Program, in order to offer staff the ability to buy the latest Microsoft Office Suite at a very deeply discounted rate ($10). We do not participate in the Home Use Program anymore, because it is no longer necessary. Our District Subscription allows each staff member to use Office 365 with their SSD login, instead of purchasing Office through the Home Use Program.

Signing in

  1. Open your Web Browser (Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, Safari, or Firefox) and navigate to https://office.com.

  2. Click on Sign in.

  3. Type in your SSD email, i.e. yournamehere@ssdmo.org, then click next or press Enter on your keyboard.

  4. You can click on any of the Office web apps to use them right from your browser. If you need a feature that is not available using the web apps, you can download Office 365 from the menu in the top right corner.

  5. Click on Install Office. Choose the top option for Office 365 apps.

  6. Follow the steps on the screen. For Chrome, you will run the download that appears in the bottom-left corner, when it completes.
