Tasks

Note

This is the same process that is followed for all students who are found no longer eligible for Special Education services. A reevaluation is completed but no NRSP is done.

Case Manager

Complete a Reevaluation.

On the Review of Existing Data Team Conclusions and Decisions page, select “Sufficient information exists on which to base the decision that (Student Name) does not continue to show evidence of the disability indicated in the initial or most recent evaluation and does not continue to need special education and related services.”

Complete the PWN-No Consent Needed. Select Proposed > Ineligibility.

Special Education Teachers: Do not lock the Reevaluation event. After completing the RED and PWN, contact a School Psychologist or Speech Language Pathologist who will complete the report, lock the event, and complete the Caselog activities including submitting the report to Word Processing to be sent to the parent/guardian.

Notes

After the Evaluation Chair locks the Reevaluation event, only an Exit event appears on Scheduled Events.
