This article assists users with printing progress reports for the student's current IEP.
Progress Reports are printed for individual students from Program Summary > Special Ed. All reports for one Due Date can be printed at one time or reports can be printed for an individual goal.
Information about accessing, completing, and printing Progress Reports can be found on the Progress Reports Quick Start.
Printing Progress Reports for the Current IEP
Progress Reports for the current IEP are printed for an individual student from the Progress Reports section of Program Summary>Special Ed.
Open the student's profile.
Select Program Summary>Special Ed.
Use the airplane icon or scroll to the Progress Reports panel.
On the Complete panel, select the Due Date for the reports you wish to print. The list of reports expands.
Select the reports you wish to print.
NOTE: Select each goal one time. All entries for the goal print on the report. Selecting the latest Due Date will ensure all reports are included. If a goal is selected multiple times, such as on multiple Due Dates, the same reports will print on multiple pages.
Click Print. All reports for the selected goals print.
The Progress Reports are created as a PDF. In this example, the Progress Report due on 9/27/2019 is not complete. A blank section is printed for that report.
Use the PDF toolbar to print the Progress Reports.
Troubleshooting
If the Notes section of a Progress Report does not print correctly, or if a PDF error occurs, this is usually a result of text that was pasted with formatting. Anytime text is pasted into Phoenix it should be copied from a plain text document or pasted by right clicking into the field and selecting either ‘Paste as plain text’ or ‘Paste and Match Style’. Formatted text will cause the text in the Summary box and/or on the print layout to display with multiple fonts and sizes. Be especially careful if copying from an email or PDF.
To fix the issue try these troubleshooting steps:
Delete ALL text in the field. Be sure there are not any ‘invisible’ characters by deleting everything until the cursor is in the upper left corner.
Reenter the text. It is best at this point to type directly into the field but you can try to paste IF you use "Paste as plain text" or "Paste and Match Style".
Save
Close
Print the report again.
If the issue has not been corrected, delete the report and recreate it.
For assistance printing reports, please contact the Service Desk.
Print (create PDF) each report as it is completed to ensure there are no printing issues. This way issues can be dealt with before other reports are completed.
Viewing/Printing Progress Reports for Previous IEPs
Progress Reports for a previous IEP (an IEP that is no longer active) are stored in Program Summary>Plan History. Instructions for viewing and printing the reports can be found here.
