Rationale

User Interface/Functionality

Application

The ESI logo and SSD branding have been updated to give the application a newer look and to align with district branding

Improvement

Student Search

Student searches are less restrictive so students with missing or incorrect information can be found more easily

Improvement

Student tab

When student information is changed, the original information appears in the Student Detail History and Student ID/Grade History panels. A record of the change will also appear on the panel.

Improvement

Contacts tab

  • The Contacts tab is red with a red flag and a salmon colored line appears on a contact when important information is entered that a business process indicates a flag is warranted. (This is not automated. This would be a manual process.)

  • If marked as the primary address for a student, the address displays on the Active grid

  • The Educational Decision Maker’s oral and written primary language can be found on the Codes tab, if provided and entered into ESI. The tab indicates a “1” when there is information. A Power BI report will be available for this information.

Improvement

Assessment Reports

Assessments older than 3 years can be printed by contacting the Service Desk

Bug

Caselog tab

  • Word Processors can indicate whether or not a physical file has been received from the Evaluation Chair
