This article describes how to get started with setting up MFA.
Setting up MFA (when you have been notified that you need to set up MFA)
Once you have been added to an implementation group, the ‘More information required’ screen will appear when signing in on your SSD account.
Click 'Next' to start your set up.
❗ Note: Staff have 14 days from the first date the above message appears on your screen to set up MFA. On the 15th day, staff will no longer have the ‘Skip for now’ option and will not be able to access their SSD Microsoft 365 applications until MFA has been set up for their SSD account.
Choosing an Authentication Method
Microsoft Authenticator App
To set up MFA using the Authenticator app, you will need to install the Microsoft Authenticator app on your phone. Click ‘Download now’ to download the app.
Click ‘Next’ on the Microsoft Authenticator screen after the app has been downloaded.
