MHC Document Express 4.5-Install for Accounting staff

This guide will aid in the process of configuring MHC Document Express 4.5 and the SQL Connector Queries for Document Express.

Step-By-Step Guide

The following printers need installed prior to beginning the Document Express installation procedures:

  1. PUR 10.1.12.222

  2. SE9 10.1.10.221

  3. MISNET 10.1.13.229

  4. DC Toshiba Rec 228

  1. Copy the MHC Document Express Directory to a USB Drive or the User's Machine while the User’s account is logged in.

  2. The directory is located at \\FINMHC-3\MHC Doc Express 4.5 Client Installer

  3. Extract the contents of the 180813 DE45 install & SQL routines.zip

  4. Run DE45o SetupB856.exe Setup and Click "Next" through all of the Install windows.

  5. Run AutoDE45o_SetupB17.exe Setup

  6. Run 20xx DEo W2 Setup (xx is the year. These are the tax document routines that are updated annually).

  7. Run 20xx DEo 1099 Std Setup (xx is the year. These are the tax document routines that are updated annually).

  8. Run 20xx DEo 1095C Setup (xx is the year. These are the tax document routines that are updated annually).

  9. Now we will need to configure the OBDC 32-Bit System Connection

  10. Run %systemdrive%\Windows\SysWoW64\odbcad32

  11.  

  12. Name: DEProd Description: DEProd Server: mhcd-2.co.ssd.k12.mo.us

  13. Change to "with SQL Server Authentication using login ID"Check box "Connect to SQL Server to Obtain Default Settings"
    Login ID: mhctest
    Password: a2Bead!d2a

  14. Change the Default Database to "DEPROD"

  15. Launch MHC Document Express 4.5o from the Start Menu and Create Shortcuts for User

  16. Data Source Name: DEProd
    User Name: mhctest
    Password: a2Bead!d2a

  17. Click "OK" then Close Program and Relaunch Document Express 4.5o

  18. Log out as the user and log in as a Local Administrator

  19. Run Document Express As Administrator, click the Administrator Options tab, then Configuration. If you do not follow these steps, you will get error messages that Routines are missing when you attempt to print.

  20. Click on the ellipses in the Module Update Directory section:

     

  21. The file path for auto-updates is \\finmhc-2\DEAutoUpdate.

  22. Click on Configuration again

  23. Click on Install Wizard

  24. Drill down to the C:\Program files (x86)\Document Express\ folder again. Click Install All from Folder

23. Have the customer log back into Windows as themselves and have them do a test Print Copy from a PO.

The software is now configured and ready for use. If there is ever an authentication issue, Infrastructure and Shantell have access to the Database and can reset one of the four user's password.
