A. Yes, enabling location settings is mandatory to clock in and out using the PC website if you have the rights to do so on the device you are using. Do I Have to Utilize the Infor WFM Website for Clocking In/Out or Requesting Time Off?

A. No, staff members have the flexibility to use either the Infor Go app or a computer to access WFM and fulfill any time and attendance-related tasks.

Why is the GPS Location Less Accurate on a desktop or laptop compared to the Infor Go App?

A. SSD employees are distributed across St. Louis County, utilizing various laptops, desktops, and browser. Not all devices are owned by SSD and have different permissions for what staff are able to do, such as enable location services. In addition, laptops and desktops controlled by SSD and Partner Districts may display the location of the internet provider or an antenna for an internet provider rather than the location of the staff member clocking time. This diversity leads to challenges in accurately determining their locations. As a result of these complexities, determining GPS location on a desktop or laptop is not as reliable as the Infor Go App used on a mobile device.
