1). Power on the hotspot by Holding the button on the top edge.

2) The lights on the face of the hotspot will turn blue

The 1st light on the left indicates that WiFi is on.

The 2nd light indicates how strong your Internet connection is.

The 3rd light shows remaining battery before the hotspot must be charged.

The 4th light (envelope) can be ignored.

3) On your laptop or Chromebook, click on the WiFi icon that looks like this.

4) These hotspots use an Open network. No password is required. Click on the network named "Alcatel Linkzone 2 ...2.4GHz"

5) Click on Connect

6) When you are finished using the hotspot, hold the button on the top edge of the device again to power off. The blue lights on the face will turn off.
