This article provides directions for T-Mobile Alcatel LINKZONE 2 Mobile WiFi Hotspot devices that Technology Services has loaned students

Step-by-step guide

1). Power on the hotspot by Holding the button on the top edge.

  • Encienda el hotspot manteniendo presionado el botón en el borde superior.

2) The lights on the face of the hotspot will turn blue

The 1st light on the left indicates that WiFi is on.

The 2nd light indicates how strong your Internet connection is.

The 3rd light shows remaining battery before the hotspot must be charged.

The 4th light (envelope) can be ignored.

  • Las luces en la cara del hotspot se volverán azules

  • La primera luz a la izquierda indica que WiFi está encendido.

  • La segunda luz indica qué tan fuerte es su conexión a Internet.

  • La tercera luz muestra la batería restante antes de que se deba cargar el punto de acceso.

3) On your laptop or Chromebook, click on the WiFi icon that looks like this.

4) These hotspots use an Open network. No password is required. Click on the network named "Alcatel Linkzone 2 ...2.4GHz"

5) Click on Connect

  • Haga clic en Conectar

6) When you are finished using the hotspot, hold the button on the top edge of the device again to power off. The blue lights on the face will turn off.
