This article describes how to get started with setting up MFA.
MFA Set-Up

To set-up MFA, a window will appear on your screen.
Click “Next' to be directed to instruction for setting up MFA.

❗ Note: Staff have 14 days from the first date the above message appears on your screen to set-up MFA. On the 15th day, staff will no longer have the ‘Skip for now’ option and will no longer be able to access their SSD Microsoft 365 accounts until MFA has been set-up for their account.
Choosing an Authentication Method
Microsoft Authenticator App
3.To set up MFA using the Authenticator app, you will need to install the Microsoft Authenticator app on your phone. Click ‘Download now’ to download the app.
Click ‘Next’ on the Microsoft Authenticator screen after the app has been downloaded.

4. If you would like to select a different method, click the link for “I was want to set up a different method.'
5. A box will appear asking you to choose a different method.
6. Select Phone from the drop down menu
