Phase 1 – SSD Life (District Level Knowledge)

Launched: September 15, 2020

• Launch new site with new home page containing all district level knowledge

• On every site/page that has moved from the current SSD Life, there will be a link/URL to the new site.

• Team collaboration sites will still be available on current SSD Life site (SharePoint 2013) for teams to access until transition to new solution has been completed

• Business processes using custom solutions will still be available on the current SSD Life site (SharePoint 2013) for teams to access until transition to new solution has been completed

End of Phase 1: New SSD Life site launched containing district level knowledge. No district level content will continue to be available on SharePoint 2013 site. Team collaboration sites and business processes using custom solutions will continue to be available as teams work with Technology Services.

Phase 2 – Teams (Team Collaboration)/Restricted access Office 365 sites

Status: In progress

Projected target date: April 30, 2021

• Technology Services collaborates with work groups to transition team collaboration sites from current SSD Life site (SharePoint 2013)

• Date provided to staff indicating when final decisions need to be made and content either deleted, archived, or moved to the new solution

• Business processes using custom solutions will still be available on the current SSD Life site (SharePoint 2013) for teams to access until transition to new solution has been completed

End of Phase 2: All work groups will have transitioned their working documents/collaboration sites to Teams, or to all alternate solution as deemed appropriate to meet the needs of the work group. Business processes using custom solutions will continue to be available as teams work with Technology Services. All restricted access sites transitioned from SharePoint 2013.

Phase 3 – Business processes using a custom solution in current SSD Life site (SharePoint 2013)

There is no one release for this phase. These new solutions will be rolled out as completed.

Projected target date: April 30, 2021

• Staff will be provided needed supports as custom solutions created in SharePoint 2013 are replaced with a different technology solutions

• As custom solutions are ready for release in their new technology solution, staff will be redirected from SharePoint 2013 location

End of Phase 3 - All processes requiring custom solutions in the current SSD Life site (SharePoint 2013) have been transitioned to a new application.

Phase 4 – Decommission SharePoint 2013

Status: Not started

Projected target date: TBD

• Final review of any contents remaining on SharePoint 2013 to determine if any additional actions are needed.

End of Phase 4 - On premise SharePoint 2013 servers are decommissioned.
