All SSD employees have an SSD Google account. Lucidchart is an approved application for SSD Google Apps.

Lucidchart is a powerful tool to help staff create process flowcharts, lesson plans, and aid students with brainstorms, concept maps, and group work. Visual learners can use Lucidchart to easily see how concepts are connected and related. Venn diagrams, curriculum flows, and entity relationship diagrams are just a few Lucidchart features to will help you revolutionize your office and classroom classroom."

Lucidchart EDU accounts allow each account to have up to 3 collaborative, editable charts at one time. All other charts after the three most recent become read-only charts.

Educational accounts include all the benefits of a paid Pro or Team account, meaning you have access to all the features Lucidchart offers. For a list of features go to Lucidchart's Education page, https://www.lucidchart.com/pages/usecase/education .

Step-by-step guide

  1. Log in and make sure the email address listed is your SSD Google email address. If you do not have a Lucidchart account select login with Google and use your SSD Google email and password. See image below.

  2. Click your name in the top right and navigate to "User Settings"

  3. Click "Get a Free Educational Upgrade" in the bottom left navigation.

  4. Receive your confirmation email, click the link, and you're in!

Educational accounts must be renewed annually. Before your subscription ends, you’ll receive an email reminding you to submit a renewal request.
