TylerSIS - Looking up a student network password

Anyone with access to TylerSIS has the ability to look up the network password of a student. This is the password the student would use in conjunction with their username to log onto computers or Google Workspace.

Instructions to look up a student network password in TylerSIS Classic View

Follow these steps.

  1. Log into TylerSIS, either through the SSD Portal or direct at: https://ssd.sisk12.net/SSD360x3/login and select the Classic login.

  2. Click on the icon for Student Defined Data in the toolbar.

  3. Search for the student by first name, last name or student ID.

  4. Once you locate your student in the search results, click the blue circle with the white triangle on the far left in the first column.

  5. The student network password will appear on this screen. See screenshot below. Data within the screenshot has been blocked out to protect information, but you can see the location of where the Student Network Password will appear.

  6. This password can then be used to log into computers, or to log into Google Workspace. See notes below:

    1. North Tech students will log into Google Workspace using @northtechnical.org after their username. Their username is their student ID. Passwords are randomly generated for these accounts.

    2. South Tech students will log into Google Workspace using @southtechnical.org after their username. Their username is their student ID. Passwords are randomly generated for these accounts.

    3. Students that fall underneath all other SSD schools will log into Google Workspace using the first initial of their first name (ex. T for Thomas) and first initial of their last name (ex. T for Thompson or Thompson-Smith), their student ID (ex. 123456) and @learn.ssdmo.org. Using the previous examples in parenthesis, tt123456@learn.ssdmo.org would be a valid student ID. Passwords are based on a formula that is the same for all students.

Instructions to look up a student network password in TylerSIS 360 View

Follow these steps.

  1. Log into TylerSIS, either through the SSD Portal or direct at: Log into TylerSIS, either through the SSD Portal or direct at: https://ssd.sisk12.net/SSD360x3/login and select the 360 login.

  2. Click the waffle icon in the upper-left corner of the screen next to the Home icon.

  3. Under Students, select “Programs and Services”.

  4. Search for the student by first name, last name or student ID.

  5. Once you locate your student in the search results, click the student’s name. This will bring up the Programs and Services page for that student. There will be a program titled “Network Password”. Click the caret symbol to the left of the “Network Password” caret. This will expand the Service Details pane and the student password will appear there.
