Form D - Part 3/PLAAFP

  • The MAP-A Justification section has been removed from Form D - Part 3 and is now completed on the PLAAFP in a new section. The section is required if staff respond yes to the following question: ‘Has the IEP team determined that the student is unable to access the regular curriculum and that a curriculum based on alternative standards is appropriate?’

  • If an amendment or correction is completed and the MAP-A Justification section on Form D - Part 3 was completed in the original plan, then Sections A-D should be copied from the original Form D - Part 3 to the new section on the PLAAFP in the amendment or correction.

  • The NRSP has been updated with these changes

  • Form title has been updated to ‘Form F: Classroom Accommodations and Modifications’ from “Alternate Form F'

  • Terminology has been updated for some accommodations on Form F. Any amendments or corrections that include Form F should include a review of accommodations to ensure they are accurately reflected. Please refer to this article for further information about these changes and a list of accommodations impacted or added.

  • The BIP can be printed by selecting it as a print option for a plan in Locked Events
