ESI Caselog is used as a tool to monitor in-process compliance of all initial evaluations and reevaluations where an eligibility report is required. And it is used to send the evaluation report to the Educational Decision Maker.

It uses real-time information from evaluation events in Phoenix and converts it to colorful badges and metrics so the Evaluation Chair can use the information to correct mistakes before the event is locked in Phoenix. It is important to use Caselog while the event is still open in Phoenix.

Caselog is also used to collect data required by DESE and SSD Administration.

There are four metrics in Caselog:

  1. Referral Accepted (initials) or Request/RED Date (reevals) to PWN Issued (30 days) - the PWN for consent must be sent within 30 days of the referral date or the Review of Existing Data date

  2. Consent Received (PWN) to Eligibility Conference (60 days) - the Eligibility Conference must be held within 60 days of the date consent was received

  3. Eligibility Determined to Ticket Submitted to Word Processing (10 days) - the Evaluation Chair has 10 days after the Eligibility Conference was held to send the report to Word Processing using Caselog

  4. Ticket Submitted to Word Processing to Report Sent to Parent (3 days) - Word Processing has 3 days after the report request has been sent to send the report to the EDM
