Zoom is one of the approved applications to conduct online meetings and collaborate remotely with SSD employees, partner district staff, and parents/educational decision makers. For more information, please visit the Online Meeting and Collaboration Resources article.
This article is to assist you with identifying the plan and email you are currently using to access Zoom.

Before you’re able to do these functions you’ll need an SSD Zoom account. You can request access to this via our Jira Customer Portal or by emailing TechnologyServices@ssdmo.org and making your request there. |
Verify your account information using the Zoom website
Access your profile on the Zoom Website at zoom.us/profile
Scroll down to Sign-In Email (this should end in @ssdmo.org)
User Type should be Basic

Click to open the Zoom software
Click in the top right corner of the dashboard to open your account information
Below your profile picture is the Zoom license plan associated with your account
Below your name is the email account that is associated with Zoom

Directions on how to sign up for a Basic Zoom account
Zoom is a great resource for communication with partner district staff and parents/educational decision makers. Zoom Education has temporarily removed the 40 minute meeting time restriction for educational organizations during COVID-19.
Follow the steps below to activate your free account. The steps below show how to download the PC application. Zoom is also available on a Mac and as a mobile app on the iOS and Android play store.
Go to https://zoom.us/
Click on the Sign up, It's Free button.
Image RemovedEnter in your SSD Email and click the Sign Up button.
Image RemovedGo to your SSD Email account and look for an email from Zoom.
In the email, click the Join the Account button.
Image RemovedComplete the form with your First, Last Name and then create your own Password. Once you have finished the form click the Continue button.

You will have to manage your own password. Zoom passwords are not synchronized to your SSD password |
