Use this article to configure your Outlook 2013, Outlook 2016, Outlook 2019 and Outlook 365 desktop application (not the web based version accessed through the Portal or at outlook.office365.com).

Step-by-step guide

  1. When you change your password, you will also need to change your credentials that Outlook 2013, Outlook 2016, Outlook 2019 and Outlook 365 uses. You should get a prompt message like the one shown below that says Need Password when Outlook opens.

  2. A password prompt will pop up.

  3. Enter your SSD User Principal Name (UPN) is your SSD username 

@co.ssd.k12.mo.us. For name.u@co.ssd.k12.mo.us
  1. @ssdmo.org For example,

  • username@co.ssd.k12.mo.us

    1. Enter your current SSD password (same password used for Portal, SSDLife, and Web Mail), it is ok to check the box so you're not prompted on each Outlook login-that is your choice depending on whether you share your computer with a generic login or not.

    2. Click OK.
