Problem

Follow the troubleshooting steps if the iOS device is not successfully connecting to the internet.

Troubleshooting Steps

(move to the next step ONLY if the previous step did not resolve the issue)

Make sure Wi-Fi is on and you can see the network

  1. Tap on Settings

  2. On the left tap on Wi-Fi

  3. Make sure the Wi-Fi Toggle Switch is turned ON 

  4. On the right wait for networks to populate and tap on the desired network

  5. If prompted enter password

  6. A blue checkmark beside the network name means you've successfully connected


Forget the network

  1. Tap on Settings

  2. On the left tap on Wi-Fi

  3. Tap on the information icon  network the device is currently connected to

  4. Tap on Forget This Network

  5. Tap on the Wi-Fi Arrow near the top of the screen 

  6. On the right wait for networks to populate and tap on the desired network

  7. If prompted enter password

  8. A blue checkmark beside the network name means you've successfully connected


Reset the Network Settings

Note

This will reset ALL networks you've previously connected to in the past

  1. Tap on Settings

  2. On the left tap on General

  3. On the right scroll down the screen and tap on Reset

  4. Tap on Reset Network Settings

  5. On the left tap on Wi-Fi

  6. Make sure the Wi-Fi Toggle Switch is turned ON 

  7. On the right wait for networks to populate and tap on the desired network

  8. If prompted enter password

  9. A blue checkmark beside the network name means you've successfully connected
