Preparing for Go Live and Go Live
Why will I not be able to use the WFM application during go live weekend?
Staff cannot enter information into either the current WFM system or the upgraded system during go live. Data is being moved from the old to the new system. Once this is done, testing is conducted on the new system to make sure all the data came over into the new system and accurately reflects what was in the old system. No new data can be entered into either system until the process is complete.
Is there anything I need to do to prepare for Go Live?
Yes. Once the upgrade is complete, all staff must know how to access and use the system.
Here are the five steps to follow so you are ready to go.
Visit the comprehensive WFM section available on the Technology Services Knowledge Center
View training videos on how to download and use the new Infor GO app
Download the Infor Go App
View short video introducing the upgraded system (including highlights of what is different)
Bookmark the new URL for the upgraded WFM system
Is there anything Supervisors specifically need to do to prepare for Go Live?
Yes. By the last day the current system is available, Supervisors must complete the following:
Approve all unapproved time off requests in the current Workforce Management (WFM) system.
• Denied and pending requests will not be transferred over.Payroll approval for the current pay period.
Work with staff and attendance secretaries to ensure that all requested time (PTO and Vacation) is submitted and approved. If staff are unexpectedly out the last day the current system is available, the attendance secretary will need to submit the time off request on behalf of the staff member if the staff member is not able to do so.
If I have unapproved time submitted in WFM when the application goes down, will it appear in the upgraded version?
No. Unapproved time will NOT be moved over. Only APPROVED time will be imported into the upgraded version. If there is unapproved time after the system goes down, it will need to be reentered after the upgrade is complete.
What do I do about clocking on/off if I will be working in the evening, after 5:15 PM on Monday, September 30? ADDED 9/13
The Payroll department is working with the leadership teams for SNAP, Homebound, and Transportation so that time clocked is accurately reflected for payroll. If staff from these departments have questions about what they should do, please contact your immediate supervisor.
Training and Resources
How will staff be trained on the new system?
Please review the training and resource plan outlined here.
Why are all staff not receiving an orientation (in person or on Teams)?
In reviewing the impact of the changes to staff, it was determined that the most equitable and efficient way to provide training and resources to staff was through the training plan outlined here. Groups that can be available as a support to staff during this time of transition will receive an orientation (in person or on Teams). These groups include all SSD Administrators, Lead Secretaries, Secretaries, and Technology Services.
What resources will be available to me as I adjust to the new Infor Go app and the new upgraded web-based application?
There are 2-to-5-minute training videos, support documentation, and downloads available in the WFM section of the Technology Services Knowledge Center. Your Supervisor, the Lead Secretaries, Secretaries and Technology Services are also available to support you as SSD makes this transition.
New version of WFM
What differences can I expect to see in the new version?
The new Infor GO app is simple and lets staff manage their time with just a few clicks.
Field labels are clearer to help you navigate easily.
Staff can clock in even without cell service! The app will save you clock-in and register the clock when you reconnect to the internet.
If you ask for a week off, you can now cancel just one day without canceling the whole week and making a new request.
Supervisors can see balance information when approving time.
From the timesheet, Supervisors can see the location of staff at the time they clocked.
Will the time off options that are no longer valid (sick time, etc.) going to be removed from the list of options in this new version? ADDED 9/13
Yes. These options will be removed when the new version goes live.
For viewing locations for staff when time clocking on/off, can the location for a series of dates be viewed at the same time, or do you have to look at individual dates? ADDED 9/13
No, you will not be able to look at the location for a series of dates at the same time. However, there is a report available in the upgraded version of WFM that will let you know time punches that do not have location data. This report is the Employee Punches by Day Report that can be run by Supervisors.
Can the calendar view start on Sunday rather than Monday? ADDED 9/13
This may be a possibility. We will evaluate this after go-live and let staff know if we make this change.

How do I download the Infor Go app?
Instructions for downloading the Infor Go app can be found here:

https://ssdmo.atlassian.net/wiki/x/QwHNhg
Do I have to enable location services on the Infor Go App?
Yes. The District requires you to enable location settings to clock in and out using the app.
Do I have to use the Infor Go app to clock on/off or request time off?
No. Staff can use either the Infor Go app or their computer to access WFM and complete any time and attendance task.
