Preparing for Go Live and Go Live Weekend
When is go live for the upgrade of WFM?
On September 30, the upgraded Infor Workforce Management (WFM) will launch. The WFM system will be unavailable after working hours on Friday, September 27, until Monday, September 30, as the upgrade is completed.
Why will I not be able to use the WFM application during go live weekend?
Staff cannot enter information into either the current WFM system or the upgraded system during go live. Data is being moved from the old to the new system. Once this is done, testing is conducted on the new system to make sure all the data came over into the new system and accurately reflects what was in the old system. No new data can be entered into either system until the process is complete.
Is there anything I need to do to prepare for Go Live?
Yes. Once the upgrade is complete, all staff must know how to access and use the system.
Here are the five steps to follow so you are ready to go on September 30.
Visit the comprehensive WFM section available on the Technology Services Knowledge Center
View training videos on how to download and use the new Infor GO app

Yes. As an SSD Administrator, you need to approve or deny any unapproved time by the end of your scheduled workday on Friday, September 27. Unapproved time will not be migrated during the upgrade process. If there is unapproved time after the system goes down on September 27, it will need to reentered after the upgrade is complete.
Training and Resources
How will staff be trained on the new system?
Please review the training and resource plan outlined here.
Why are all staff not receiving an orientation (in person or on Teams)?
In reviewing the impact of the changes to staff, it was determined that the most equitable and efficient way to provide training and resources to staff was through the training plan outlined here. Groups that can be available as a support to staff during this time of transition will receive an orientation (in person or on Teams). These groups include all SSD Administrators, Lead Secretaries, Building Secretaries, and Technology Services.
What resources will be available to me as I adjust to the new Infor Go app and the new upgraded web-based application?
There are 2-to-5-minute training videos, support documentation, and Quick Start Cards available in the WFM section of the Technology Services Knowledge Center. Your Supervisor, the Lead Secretaries, Building Secretaries and Technology Services are also available to support you as SSD makes this transition.
Differences in the upgraded version
What differences can I expect to see in the new version?
The new Infor GO app is simple and lets staff manage their time with just a few clicks.
Field labels are clearer to help you navigate easily.
Staff can clock in even without cell service! The app will save you clock-in and register the clock when you reconnect to the internet.
If you ask for a week off, you can now cancel just one day without canceling the whole week and making a new request.
Supervisors can see balance information when approving time.
From the timesheet, Supervisors can see the location of staff at the time they clocked.
Infor Go App
How do I download the Infor Go app?
Instructions for downloading the Infor Go app can be found here.
Do I have to use the Infor Go app to clock on/off or request time off?
No. Staff can use either the Infor Go app or their computer to access WFM and complete any time and attendance task.
