Deauthorize a RingCentral application

This article will walk you through the steps of deauthorizing a computer or app from RingCentral. 

Step-by-step guide

  1. Log into your RingCentral account on any PC or Mac.

  2. Select "Settings" from the top.

  3. Select "Phones & Numbers".

  4. Select "Phones".

  5. You want to select "Edit" on the computer you wish to deauthorize and stop using to take calls. The default nickname is "SoftPhone".

  6. Select "Deauthorize this Computer".

  7. Select "Yes" at the confirmation box.

  8. You may navigate away from this area or close the browser after confirming this.

When performing this action it may change the order in which your devices ring when a call is incoming.
