ESI: Student Services - Personnel Tab
The Personnel tab is used to associate staff members with the case. When the case is created, the Main Contact and either a CAF or Aug Comm entry is required. Other fields are optional. After the case has been created, the Personnel Tab is used to update staff associated with the case or to add additional staff to the case.
The Summary, IEP, Personnel, Log, and Device tabs are disabled when the Student Services tab is opened. The Demographics tab becomes visible when a case is moved to the "COMPLETED" status. To activate the tabs, click the Select button on the Case Grid for the case you wish to view.
Open the Personnel Tab
Select the case on the Case Grid.
Select the Personnel tab.
The history of the personnel associated with the case is displayed.
Add a New Personnel Entry
This process ends the current entry and adds a new Active row. The Personnel history is saved.
Do not select the current row. The Personnel fields should be blank.
Enter names in the required fields: Main Contact and either CAF or Aug Comm. Other fields can be completed as needed. In this example, Train320 is replacing Train301 as Support Staff 1. The Main Contact and Computer Access Facilitator are not changing.
Save.
A new row is added to the grid and marked ACTIVE.
The name of the person making the change and the date and time the change was made appear in the row.
Update Current Personnel
This overwrites the current personnel entry; it does not create a new entry or save the Personnel history. It should be used only to correct the current entry.
Select the row you wish to view. The current entry is identified with the ACTIVE label.
The Personnel fields are filled with the names of the currently assigned staff.
Edit/Add fields as needed. In this example, Train301 is being added as Support Staff 1.
To add a name, begin typing the last name in the field. A list of names will begin to display. Select the name when it appears.
Save.
The grid is updated with the new information.
The name of the person making the change and the date and time the change was made appear in the row.
