Apple - Password Changes on Mosyle-Managed Macs
What happens when the user changes their SSD password?
When a user changes their SSD password, their local password to log into their Mac also needs to be updated. The user will be prompted to do this when they log into their Mac.
At the initial Microsoft-branded login screen, users will enter username@ssdmo.org and click Next.
Users will be redirected to our ADFS page where they enter their new SSD password, and click Sign in.
The user will be prompted to enter their current local password. This is your old SSD password prior to changing it. Enter your old SSD password, and click the right arrow.
This will log the user into the macOS desktop. All local passwords and keychains will be updated with the new SSD password. Users will now be able to log into the device using the new SSD password.
