Upgrade MHC Document Express to Build 866

This document will assist with updating the local standalone installations at the DC that access MHC Doc Express.

MHC software has released a build of DE4.5o that enhances security that will remedy the exposure that
currently allows user IDs and passwords to be the same. Upon deployment, all users will be required to
update their password if it is the same as their user ID (i.e. SallyS, SallyS).

Step-by-step

Upgrade DE45o by using an install DE45o_UpgradeInstallation.exe

The DE45o_UpgradeInstallation.exe will need to be run on each workstation that has Document Express
installed.

Download the DE45o_UpgradeInstallationB858.exe
Copy MHC Doc Express Update Package to Machine or Run for Flash Drive

 

Once saved, right-click on the Setup and choose ‘Run as Administrator’.

  1. Select Next on the Welcome screen.

  2. Chose the radio button ‘I accept the terms.. ‘ and click Next.

  3. Enter your User Name and Organization name in the text boxes provided and click Next.

  4. Select Next to accept the default Destination folder location or select the Change button to
    change the location for the installation and then the Next button.
    Note: The Destination folder should point to where your current DE45o.exe is.

  5. Click Install.

 

Have the user log in and verify the PO database opens.
