Searching for and Viewing assets within Asset Tiger
Step-by-step
There are a couple of options to search and view assets within Asset Tiger.
If you know the device asset tag number or serial number, you can click and type in the asset tag number or serial number into the box at the top of the screen and hit enter. This will perform a search.
If a match is found, the search result will return information. If you click the View icon on the far right next to the asset, you will be brought to the device information page where additional information is visible.
The other method to search or view assets is to use the sidebar. Click on Assets, and then click on List of Assets. You can then click on the green “Search Criteria” button.
From here, you can search based on a number of different fields, to include specific individuals. Alternatively, you can forego searching and simply view assets based on the criteria you select.
In the first screenshot below, we have selected the Site - “Bayless School District”. Since we have entered no actual search criteria, or any other search parameter, clicking the orange “Search” button will return all assets we have assigned to Bayless School District, as shown in the second screenshot below.
