IEP team members and other qualified professionals meet or confer to review all relevant existing evaluation information in order to determine what additional data, if any, is needed to determine if the student continues to have a disability, the present levels of performance and educational needs of the student, whether the child needs or continues to need special education and related services and whether any accommodations or modifications to the special education and related services are needed to enable the student to meet annual goals and to participate, as appropriate, in the general curriculum.

The Review of Existing Data Page 1 is the first page of the Review of Existing Data in the Reevaluation Event.

Completing RED page 1:

  1. Enter School District

  2. Enter Age

  3. Choose Y/N on VTS. (Voluntary Transfer Student)

  4. Click Y/N for Non-Public. (Special Non-Public Access)

  5. Enter current primary eligibility

  6. The date of the most recent evaluation is auto populated based on the date of the last evaluation

Indicate that this is a Reevaluation. If this is a parent request for this meeting, choose Yes and enter the date of the request
  1. Select “A required three year reevaluation” for a triennial. Select “Other” for any other reason including a parent request.

  2. Indicate if the team Met or Conferred

  3. For Vision, indicate the following:

    1. Check data source(s) for area

    2. Enter Type and Description of Data Reviewed

    3. Enter Summary of Information Gained

    4. Indicate if Further Assessment Information is Needed and indicate any Assessment instruments, if known

    5. Save
